毒駕肇事頻傳，交通部擬修法嚴懲，吸毒者但未駕車也可能面臨吊扣或吊銷駕照並限制考領。由於部分國家大麻合法化，若國人出國嘗試吸食，回國後因體內殘留遭警方驗出並通報，是否仍會被處分也備受關注。交通部表示，新制上路後，只要接獲通報仍適用吊銷吊扣駕照，另除提高毒駕罰鍰，也研議當場沒入車輛可行性。
